Do Everything in Love

1 Corinthians 16:14

So in all honesty, this is my third attempt at blogging this week! And so far all have ended badly!

It’s not for lack of things I want to write about, but more a matter of ‘Is it what I’m supposed to write about’? Is that really what the Lord wants me to say, or is it my personal agenda? And trust me, sometimes I’d like to advocate my own agenda! Just let everybody have it…and then what?

Really. To what end?

And I suppose that is why I’m writing this instead, sharing with whoever is reading this that we want to be spirit-led in all we do! We can build a bridge and be gentle in our words and our actions, or we can tear one down equally as fast (maybe faster) with quick and sharp words!

In the last couple of weeks, we have had some acquaintances of ours pass away, and I’m once again so much more aware of eternity! My life, my words, my living as Christ before people could be the difference-maker between heaven and hell!

1 Corinthians 16:14 says,
“Let all your things be done in charity.”

“And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight.”

Colossians 1:20-22 KJV

We were once there, and Jesus reconciled us, therefore we need to be ones who reconcile those who are without! Keep that in the forefront of your thinking the next time you want to give someone a piece of your mind!

Love you and am praying for you!
