First things first: keep Psalms 91 on your heart at all times. This chapter is full of many of God's promises for believers. God has plans for you; for good - lots of good that you can receive even in the not-so-good times. How you act out your faith will correspond to what you receive. Find out what the Bible says and do it! It's simple, maybe not easy, but simple.
God has always wanted good for His people and he still does! If you will put away yourself and do things God's way every part of your life will be positively affected. Let the garbage go.
You can’t have fear and faith at the same time. So, when fear is creeping into your life you need only put your faith in God, His promises (all nicely recorded in His Word), and perfect love. Remember that God is love and perfect love casts out all fear! Fear comes in many forms and sometimes hides behind other words, but if you’ve stopped moving forward or you’re worried, or your angry, or maybe even just complacent then put on the full armour of God (Ephesians 6:10-19) and walk in love.
When you believe in and depend on God you don't have to fight in the natural. Fight with prayer, faith and following God's ways. He is long suffering and does not want anyone to be lost. He loves you just the way you are and wants to see you transformed into the best!
What does the Easter really stand for? Hear Pastor John's message about Jesus' life and death and how that affected everyone who calls on the name of The Lord. The only way to a satisfied life - a deep contentment that will not be easily swayed by anything - is to be set free by Jesus. He paid the price to all sin, sickness, worries, and more, once and for all!
You've heard it often - in everything give thanks. Why does it matter? Because speaking what we're thankful for and giving God the glory for it in worship is part of who we are. We have been created to worship and if we're not worshipping God we will be worshipping something that doesn't give us fulfillment in life.
Faith is not based on how good you are but on how good God is. He is so good that He gave his one and only Son and made it that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life - and have a good life! So, base your faith on your dependence on God and see how God always sets you up to win.
What do you want other people to know you for? Your dislikes, your opinions, your judgments? Jesus said all men will know you are my disciples by your love for one another, so if we desire to follow Jesus we should want to be know for our love. This world doesn't make it easy, for sure, but we need to let the greater one inside of each of us reign over our words and actions, so we don't lose the compassion and love of God.
When you sow the Word into your life, you'll receive many benefits and blessings. As Proverbs 2:3-5 tells us, "if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. Seek the Word and the truth and you will never be alone, never without hope, and always comforted in your close relationship with God.
Take in Pastor John's message about how the enemy comes to ruin relationships and how we can overcome the little things and not let them lose the peace we have in God. Out of your heart flows the issues of your whole life, so surrender all things to God and let the peace of Jesus take over. Be happy and laugh especially when you don't feel like it.
