Sometimes it feels like we've got all the time in the world to get stuff done. That stuff that isn't an necessary to do right away, but would make an impact on others lives is often what gets put on the back burner of prioritizing. Hear some scriptural guidance of the importance of doing what God has planned for you and be determined to show Jesus through your words and actions.
How can you be a difference-maker? It's all about the most important thing in your life - how you treat other people. People that are good to you, people that aren't so good to you, people you agree with, people you don't agree with, people you know well and people you don't know - yet. John and Julia share from several points from scripture how Jesus has taught His way, His truth and His life. Take it all in and be all He created you to be!
How do you live the good life? By making the decision to base your life (and your emotions) on the Word of God. In the midst of any situation or any negative experience we cans till be happy, joyful and loving those who are against us. That's the power of the Word in action!
Get a steady mix of faith, trust and God's Word in your life and you'll be more and more blessed! Be aware of what you are thinking on and what you are depending on so you don't focus on things that don't benefit. Be settled that God's Word is true - always and forever!
The mighty message here is to watch your words. Speak what you want in your life and keep your mind set on God's plan for your life, which is always good and for your benefit and increase. Unbelief keeps God's plan for you from happening - until you keep your belief front and centre all the time! "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end." (Lamentations 3:22)
Out of your heart will flow the the issues of your life (Proverbs 4:23), so it's pretty important to guard your heart and not allow anger, bitterness, or doubt to influence your faith and your life. Keep in God's Word constantly and think on those things that matter to Jesus.
How do you do marriage right? Shower your spouse with love no matter how they are acting. Not an easy thing to do unless you are standing in God's love - His unconditional, never-ending, selfless love. God wants you to have heaven on earth and a marriage that builds you up in his ways. Take these words from John and Julia to heart and be that child of love that God created in you.
First things first: keep Psalms 91 on your heart at all times. This chapter is full of many of God's promises for believers.
God has plans for you; for good - lots of good that you can receive even in the not-so-good times. How you act out your faith will correspond to what you receive. Find out what the Bible says and do it! It's simple, maybe not easy, but simple.
God has always wanted good for His people and he still does! If you will put away yourself and do things God's way every part of your life will be positively affected. Let the garbage go.
You can’t have fear and faith at the same time. So, when fear is creeping into your life you need only put your faith in God, His promises (all nicely recorded in His Word), and perfect love. Remember that God is love and perfect love casts out all fear! Fear comes in many forms and sometimes hides behind other words, but if you’ve stopped moving forward or you’re worried, or your angry, or maybe even just complacent then put on the full armour of God (Ephesians 6:10-19) and walk in love.
